Safe2Say Something

Dear SESD Families:

In 2018, Pennsylvania passed Act 44 to improve the safety of all schools statewide.  Part of Act 44 required the establishment of a statewide anonymous reporting system.  The Pennsylvania Attorney General, in accordance with the requirement, has established Safe2Say.  Safe2Say can be utilized by students, parents or staff statewide to anonymously report any concerns.

Act 44 requires every school entity to train all students in middle school and high school on how to use Safe2Say by the end of the 2018-2019 school year.  South Eastern School District trains middle school and high school students annually.  However, Safe2Say is available for all students, staff and parents district wide.

Please, see the following link for Safe2Say details – https://s2ss.knack.com/s2ss#schools/kn-asset/22-44-71-5c1ff6fc13969b085fe2cfb4/s2ss.parentbrochure.pdf

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact your Building Principal.

Sincerely,

Dr. Nathan Van Deusen
