STEM Summit

STEM logo with students in lab coats in backgroundOn November 2, students in grade 10 experienced STEM activities connected to real-world occupations presented by Junior Achievement.  Some activities included: computer programming, epidemiology (disease control), polymer creation, and mechanical engineering.  Throughout the day, students were encouraged to be involved in team building, problem solving and creative thinking.

Kennard-Dale was the first school to pilot the STEM Summit in 2013.
