FFA is an intercurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of three components of agriculture education. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture education. The letters FFA stand for Future Farmers of America. However, FFA is not just for students who want to become production farmers. FFA welcomes members of perse backgrounds and prepares students for careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners, and so much more. For this reason, the name was changed to the National FFA Organization to reflect the growing persity and new opportunities which are always arising within the agriculture industry.

The Kennard-Dale FFA Chapter is very involved within the high school and South Eastern School District. Students take pride in living out their motto "Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, living to serve." FFA members are constantly doing positive things to impact themselves and their surrounding community. Annually, they carry out various fundraisers, participate in community service opportunities, have monthly meetings and social activities, hold teacher appreciation events, attend leadership conferences, participate in career development events (CDE's) and much much more!

To learn more about all that FFA has to offer, see Ms. Cornett, Mrs. Smeltzer or a current FFA Officer.
